The vendor is required to provide for administering the Medicaid program and the state children’s health insurance program within state.
- Provides comprehensive, affordable health care coverage for over two million low-income state residents, including 40% of all state children and 60% of all residents with disabilities.
- Intends to implement a digital assessment repository and workflow system, known as the agency comprehensive advisory system (E-CAS), in order to improve assessment functionality, build in tailored workflows for each type of assessment, improve member health and acuity data, and reduce administrative burden for both agency and providers.
- Agency has procured for and contracted with a technology vendor to configure and enhance a human services assessment solution to meet the needs of each of the programs in scope and is seeking support from the provider community to ensure that workflows and configurations align with or improve upon current practice.
- The public to serve on the provider advisory group (PAG) starting no sooner than April 2025 and for approximately a 16-month term encompassing development, go-live, and three months post-go-live.
