RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide web application services. 
- Services will include web development, modification and maintenance for the university’s family check-up online suite of web applications as further described below.
- Web application.
• Family check-up (FCU) online (FCU online) is a custom website app tailored to a defined group of users, who are participating in a university research study.
• The web app is not public and not intended for general public use.
• The selected users participate in the FCU online program, progressing in a tunneled and scheduled sequence that is tightly integrated with behavioral change text messages and telehealth type coaching sessions.
• The research staff tracks a user’s engagement with the FCU online program and delivers accompanying support for the user's practice and acquisition of new skills.
• The Twilio SMS integration is already set up, but messages for new development may need to be added, or adapted, and scheduled.
- Backend
• The FCU online suite of web apps uses a node backend with koa as the web framework and objection for the object-relational mapping.
• The administrative backend supports development, deployment, and data storage.
- Frontend
• The frontend is built with react. both the backend and frontend are written in typescript.
• The database is PostgreSQL.
- The FCU website and web app as a model to create new web app modules and adapt existing FCU content to address wide ranging mental health problems contextualized for defined groups of users and settings.
- Future derivative work and adapted modules will include but not be limited to target age, mental health category or risk population, organizational setting or circumstance, and language and cultural adaptation.
- Assist with modifications and updates, provide additional deliverables and expansions to the online apps as requested by the university.
- Provide software quality assurance. preference for explicit system for client-based bug reporting and resolution.
- Ability to meet in person or via web meeting. costs associated with meetings are responsibility of the proposer.
- Contract Period/Term: 6 years
