The vendor is required to provide from vendors to provide debt resolution and collection services.
- The county estimates that amount of dept to be reconciled is approximately twenty-three million, four hundred forty thousand, two hundred eight dollars and 60/100 ($23,440,208.60).
- Have ability and resources to collect debt in the state.
- Provide a dedicated management team and government team to address the regulatory requirements for government agency collections.
- Work with taxpayers, state department of revenue, county offices (and other entities) as necessary to define and maintain accurate assessments.
- Provide services to resolve and collect debt, including but not limited to: skip-tracing, billing, resolution and collection.
- Provide easily accessible web access to afford the county the ability to view and download reports to obtain information regarding activity, changes, remittances, etc.
- Provide taxpayers with accurate contact information, required forms and instructions on how to file and refile appropriate tax-related forms.
- Maintain appropriate records, including financial records that can be audited.
- Provide services at no charge to the county.
