RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide resources and logistical support to county upon the direction of county emergency management.
- Provided services and resources would include equipment, site management, unit installation, unit maintenance, deactivation and staging operations for, but not limited to, the following:
• Logistical support
• Emergency and relief workforce housing and sustenance
• Preposition contracting
• Site preparation for temporary housing
• Transportation – equipment/materials transfer/storage
• Generator packages for critical public facilities
• Portable lighting
• Emergency pumps and piping
• Refrigeration trucks
• Fuel supply for response and recovery operations
• Emergency satellite communications (ip telephone)
• Portable toilets
• Forklifts
• Water/moisture/mold remediation and tear-out for public facilities
• Portable modular living quarters, galleys, bathroom facilities, laundry units, offices, command centers, first aid/medical units
• Conex style storage unit
• Box trucks
• Portable potable water storage
• Tents
• Decontamination clean-up of contractor equipment and contractor sites
• Community points of distribution (ace model) equipment, manpower, and logistics for site
operations, and material for distribution (bottled water, ice, tarps, meals ready to eat)
• Donations management
• Wildland and urban firefighting equipment, materials, and personal protective equipment
- Emergency materials/supplies (initial order with delivery to designated county storage sites within 24 hours after receipt of order:
• Bottled water- initial emergency order = 10 trucks (in a 53 ft. trailer, 20 pallets minimum per truck and minimum 16 oz. bottles)
• Ice- initial emergency order= 10 trucks (eight-pound bag minimum, 53ft. trailer, and 20 pallets per refrigerated truck)
• Tarps- initial emergency order= 52,000 (minimum size per tarp 20 ft. x 25 ft.)
• Portable power generators- initial emergency order= (2) 100 kw; (1) 250kw; (4) 300kw; (6) 500 kw; (1) 600 kw (including installation, maintenance, and all power cables for hookup, and sufficient fuel for a minimum of 72 hours of continuous operation.)
• Meals ready to eat (MRE) - initial emergency order = 10 trucks (1,812 cases per truck; 53 ft. trailer)
- The ability to scale operations as needed, based on the situation and approval of county emergency management.
- Provide county emergency management with daily reports detailing, but not limited to, both government and non-government furnished items, number of items handled, number of items in staging, number of items in use, location of items in use, items installed at county, commercial and private sites, and total costs encumbered to date including maintenance and personnel costs.
- Contractor participation in telephone conference calls to coordinate with the county emergency management project manager as needed.
