The Vendor is required to provide to secure an agency and platform to perform employment background checks to streamline and improve the onboarding process.
- Provide a background screening vendor to complete quality background checks for all new hires within the enterprise in a timely and accurate manner.
- Background check reports include all of these components:
• Staff employment checks package - public records, sanctions check, positive identification, education, employment, motor vehicle records, and criminal.
• Clinicians and other licensed health care personnel - public records, sanctions check, positive identification, education, employment, licensures, motor vehicle records and criminal.
- Platform implementation and customization
• Train central health staff on the use and set-up of the platform through various training methods, including self-guided materials, training sessions and webinars, and other resources as needed
• Platform must integrate with central health’s current systems (listed below), as well as any other prospective systems that central health may adopt in the future
1. Agency ready – central health’s current HRIS system
2. Integration into both systems is required so central health can launch background screenings directly from system, carry out the background checks on the vendor’s platform, and have the platform carry over statuses and other information into systems and agency ready (i.e. completion status)
• Platform/portal must be secure and easy-to-use for staff and candidates
• Platform/portal must have dashboard format with drill-down, reporting, and metric tracking capabilities.
- Background check reports
• Provide the below listed comprehensive background reports
• The background check process must be easy to initiate and complete for staff and candidates
• Final reports and metrics must be laid out in easy-to-read format for staff and candidates
• Ability to track status of, print, and export reports as needed, including performance reports and background check reports
• Reports returned within timely manner (24-72 hours upon request)
• Data accuracy of reports in excess of 99%
• Notifications via automated emails once background check reports are complete.

• Drug testing, if available
• Any other available checks available that are not listed
• Additional services/checks as requested
- Ongoing customer and technology support
• Customer support/technical support line designated for central health, available via phone and/or chat m-F 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST
• Assigned account manager or customer service representative, to respond within 24 hours upon receiving support request from central health
• Scheduled meetings (as needed) with the customer service representative/account manager to discuss any pending concerns or issues

- Agency currently processing 750 comprehensive background checks per year, but is anticipating the enterprise to grow and increase to 1000 background checks per year.
