The vendor is required to provide a variety of employee relations investigative services on an as needed basis.
- Employee relations investigations
• Conduct or assist with reviewing human resources operations regarding applicable federal and state laws, and county sheriff’s office policies and procedures.
• Conduct or assist with criminal and administrative investigations regarding employee misconduct, alleged discrimination, grievances, retaliation or violations and non-compliance with county sheriff’s office policies and procedures and violations of any applicable criminal laws.
• Conduct or assist with investigations regarding grievances.
• Conduct or assist with interviews of all involved parties to include, but not limited to, witnesses, complainants, victims and principles.
• Produce written, recorded or paraphrased summaries of interviews.
• Gather documents and records relevant to criminal and administrative investigations including but not limited to personnel files, dispositions of similar complaints, e-mails, memos, organizational charts, employee lists or rosters, phone or equipment records, billing or payroll records, photos, witness notes, letters, training records, computer hard drives, budget or financial records, and employee work products.
• Organize and index documents.
• Document findings.
• Prepare reports.
• Work shall be completed within 85 calendar days, barring an extension within 85 calendar days of being initiated by office policy
• Provide expert witness testimony if required.
- General service requirements:
• Investigators shall maintain in current status all federal, state and local licenses, permits and certifications required for the operation of its business or profession as applicable to this contract.
• The investigator shall meet with the sheriff’s office designer as needed to discuss case-related problems that require immediate attention.
• The investigator shall serve as a witness, if needed, in legal matters related to consulting services performed as part of this contract.
• The investigators shall provide services in accordance with all relevant federal, state and local laws, ordinances, and regulations.
• The investigator shall be familiar with county sheriff’s office mandates and business.
