The vendor is required to provide for property and casualty insurance for the county’s fire and rescue department.

• Contractor shall include a specimen copy of all policies quoted outlining coverage forms and special conditions.
• Contractor shall outline all exclusions.
• Contractor shall list all unusual warranties or conditions.
• Contractor shall outline specific advantages the program provides the county
- Agency insurance company services:
• Contractor shall outline any claims management programs or assistance that may be of specific
Interest to the county.
• Contractor shall provide quarterly claims information reports and ad hoc reporting if required.
• Contractor shall outline risk control services that will be provided by the contractor or any insurance
carrier proposed.
• Contractor shall furnish departmental premium allocation if requested.
• Contractor shall provide a periodic survey of the market for the broadcast coverage available and at
most competitive price.
• Contractor shall aid in subrogation claims if needed.
• Contractor shall provide unlimited service regarding all insurance questions including review of
leases, rental agreements or other contracts the county may be a party of.
• Contractor shall obtain details regarding any type of insurance coverage needed or requested by the
county.
• Contractor shall outline any additional risk management services that will be provided to the county.
• Contractor shall detail the primary person(s) who will be involved in the servicing of the account.
• This shall include position on the account and experience with public entities.
- Miscellaneous factors:
• Contractor shall identify the a.m. best key rating of the insurance companies proposed.
• All elected officials, appointed officials, members of all appointed or governing bodies, employees, and volunteers while acting within the scope of their duties.
• All insurance policies shall contain an inadvertent errors and omissions endorsement.
