The vendor is required to provide s for a portion of our fire and security monitoring, maintenance, and additional services to include, but not limited to Bosch security panel upgrades, adding access controls to existing Bosch panels, avigilon camera installations and maintenance, annual fire alarm inspections and reports, etc.
- The basic service obligations of the contractor shall include, but not limited to the following:
• Monitoring on the fire alarm system, security systems and their components, and elevator phones (7) seven days a week, (24) twenty-four hours a day including holidays.
• Components include but aren’t limited too, fire alarms activations on fire panels, entry and exit devices, batteries, glass break detectors, photocells, motion detectors, panic devices, card readers, door contacts, etc.
o Notification to facilities staff of alarm prior to contacting police and fire dispatch.
o Establish protocols to allow cancellation of false alarms by facilities staff.
o Fire alarm system testing and inspections as required by the department, state and authorities with jurisdiction.
a. All testing to be completed by an individual from your company with the appropriate certification options; for example, for installer – alarm system maintenance inspector, must be by a NICET I or higher in fire alarm systems of inspection/testing of fire alarm systems.
• Endorsements by the state will be required.
• Full understanding of the operation of each different type of security and fire alarm panel, and technical support for each.
• Installation and programming of fire alarm panels and Bosch security and access control panels.
• Installations and programming for avigilon camera system
• Provide weekly open/close reports for security panel activity at each site.
• The contractor is required to sign in at the circulation desk when arriving at the branch and signing out when leaving the branch.
