The vendor is required to provide from qualified investment firms to provide investment management services in the role of investment consultant.
- Responsibilities
• Review current financial markets and economic climate.
• Assist in the development and periodic review of the investment policy.
• Conduct investment manager searches and advise the committee
• Conduct due diligence of the investment manager(s), including all management expenses.
• Communicate matters of policy and investment direction to the investment managers.
• Provide review of the fund investment history, historical capital markets performance, and the contents of this investment policy to any newly appointed members of the committee.
• Submit to the foundation quarterly reports detailing the current portfolio holdings, market value, annualized yield, monthly realized and unrealized gains, income from all invested assets, fees paid and other management expenses, and other information that is customary on the investment consultant’s reporting system.
• Proposer must have the ability to produce monthly statements on request.
• Meet with the committee and the foundation’s board of directors at regularly scheduled meetings to review investment performance.
• Review investment policy as needed.
• Operate without any conflicts of interest.
• Provide additional information and analysis as requested by university foundation board, and the foundation board’s finance and investment committee.
