The vendor is required to provide s from qualified and experienced contractors for a professional consultant for geographic information system (GIS) data, services, and deliverables.
- Tasks
• GIS data acquisition and management.
• Provide and maintain and update county wide address dictionary to service the agency student information system.
• Provide GIS technical support to agency staff.
• Assist with integration of geospatial data into microsoft 365 platforms and assist agency staff with integration of web apps in the agency enterprise system.
- Requirements
1. GIS data acquisition and management
• Coordinate with agency growth management staff and identify the presence or absence of the agency required, recommended and optional GIS data layers.
• Perform geospatial analysis.
• Obtain GIS data when required.
• Ensure data is accurate, has correct topology, and has metadata that meets or exceeds predetermined
• Metadata standard.
- Provide GIS technical support to agency staff
• Must possess knowledge on current GIS software products, analytical methods, and services.
• Assist agency staff troubleshoot technical issues with GIS software and analytical methods.
• Provide customer support for any products or derivatives created by the vendor for agency.
- Prepare school location maps and mapping analyses using ESRI geographic information system with annual updates.
• Coordinate with agency growth management staff to determine project needs.
• Perform required analyses for project.
• Create printable and online mapping products for project.
• Create web mapping applications if necessary and desired
- Current performance issues and make recommendations that will have an immediate impact on improved integration, performance, or operability efficiencies.
• The ability to familiarize oneself with agency GIS resources in order to make recommendations on how to improve data, analytical methods, and deliverables.
• Identify possible training needs and provide for the creation and maintenance of GIS layers, maps, and other applications.
