The vendor is required to provide that grant management software that include
• The implementation will be conducted and what on-site implementation support will be provided.
• The university’s indicate implementation timeline could accommodate this schedule.  
• The university expects the respondent to manage the implementation process.
• The project management methodology your firm uses, and the project management tools used by your firm to manage the project implementation.
• System implementation, project management, and conversion services, including example timeline.
- Pre/post awards:
• System must have custimizable work/approval flows
• Pre-award- and post-award module integration
• System must have an approvals workflow based on roles
• Approvals workflow must be able to designate proxy approvers
• System must allow for management. describe this function within your system.
• System must provide a cost sharing capability. please describe yours.
• System should provide a post award financial module
- Compliance with government grant proposal criteria:
• Preset workflow from/to between compliance and pre and post awards
• System must provide an audit trail.
• System must have the ability to track and change due dates and expiration capabilities
• Protocols have due dates and yearly renewals.  the system must provide for version control to track yearly changes in these.
• System must provide a contracts module that interacts with the other system modules
- System email/notifications:
• System must have an email function within the tool
• System must have the ability to send emails directly from the system
• System must have the ability to search sent emails
• System must provide automated and customizable communication letters for researchers
• System must have group email capability for specific groups within the system
• System must allow for notifications of pending approvals within system
• System should have the ability to send reminders to stakeholders
- Reporting:
• System must provide a robust analytics and reporting module
• System must have custom reporting capabilities
• System must have the ability to export data in .csv or excel format
• System should have the ability to filter reports based on parent/child relationships
- User interface:
• System must provide a user-friendly pi interface/dashboard
• System should include a comprehensive sponsor list. this list should be able to be added to.
• System must provide streamlined tracking from development to submission, award, and expenditure
• System should have the ability to create parent/child profiles between sponsor and the individual awards applied for by the sponsor
• System should have the ability to customize the required information in the parent and child profiles
- data conversion:
• Vendor must provide for conversion of existing system current data, plus history. please describe how this is handled.
• Vendor must have experience in assisting other other customers in conversion of data to your system. please describe systems you have experience with.
• Vendor must advise of any special considerations that we should be aware of in the conversion of data. please describe.
- Data management
• System is able to manually import/export data to excel or csv format - please describe exporting options and data types available for export
• System is able to automatically export data to excel or csv format. can the user define the frequency of automatic data calls
• System is able to accept manual entry of data
