The vendor is required to provide human resource management platform has stretched HR and IT staffing and made the employee onboarding and training processes inefficient.
• Streamline our employee onboarding and records management processes
• Provide a robust learning management system to create, distribute, track employee training content and sessions, and test employee knowledge
• Function as a centralized employee performance management and skills tracking system
• Offer user-customizable reports, dashboards, and data export options
• Support virtual community spaces for employee groups and provide a space and process for staff recognition
• Serve as the system of record for centralized personnel files, while integrating with the city’s payroll system, technologies
- Tasks:
• Potentially serve as a centralized employee recruitment platform
• Act as an employee self-service portal, assisting employees seeking information about available time off, benefits, work rules, compensation, or other topics which may be of interest to employees
• Provide an integrated and accessible solution for communication with both field and office employees
• And function as a unified system for employee time management
- The employee lifecycle including employee recruiting, onboarding, training, skills assessment, tracking of performance, growth and career pathways, succession planning, off boarding, and records management.
- This system is currently on-premises with plans to move to the cloud.
- The city is also using the employee self-service portal for employee access to time entry, leave requests, and accessing digital documents to some extent, such as w2 statements, pay stubs, and open enrollment election.
- The first for the software to meet our critical needs (onboarding, learning management, records management, and performance management); and a second for the additional tools which may add productivity and efficiency to our processes (recruiting, employee self-service, benefits management, time management, etc.).
