The vendor is required to provide outline the tasks and responsibilities required to update the local mitigation strategy (LMS) for county.
- Review, update and revise the county LMS for compliance with state and federal standards.
- The LMS will be in compliance with all local practices, rules, laws, state and federal that affect the publication and acceptance of a county LMS.
- The revised LMS will meet the standards and requirements as set forth by the agency in the local hazard mitigation plan review compliance crosswalk criteria.
- Revised LMS will be coordinated and consistent with the state LMS initiative.
- The LMS will be revised for consistency with the national infrastructure protection plan (NIPP), as appropriate.
- The county comprehensive emergency management plan (CEMP) and other relevant supporting documentation may be required during the revision process and shall be provided electronically and in hard copy when requested.
- Format as appropriate; ensure an active table of contents and crosswalk via established links.
- Update LMS general plan components and necessary associated appendices
- Update LMS hazards and vulnerability analysis.
• Identify new hazards and emerging threats.
- Update the LMS plan mitigation project priority list.
- Update the local hazard mitigation strategy plan.
- The LMS review report will include a completed LMS crosswalk with notations.
- Establish a project timeline and work plan.
- Conduct an initial meeting with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate or participate in meetings with the local hazard mitigation strategy plan working group to guide the update process
- Provide support during the local hazard mitigation plan review and approval process.
- Contract Period/Term: 2 years
