RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide of Media Production services that will promote state Highway Safety programs.
- 11 - :30 Second television spots that are also formatted for digital/social media
- 11 - :30 Second radio spots
- 2 – Safe driving buck slips
- Mature driver – where to turn for declining driving skills and signs of decline; Effects of medication on driving (if space allows)
- Speeding – weather, stopping distance, effects in crashes at various and higher speeds.
- 2 – Safe driving tri-fold brochure
-Move over law and safe driving around commercial motor vehicles (CMV) and their blind spots
-Risks of leaving a child of unattended passenger in a vehicle after the vehicle is deactivated by the operator.
- 1 – 15 Minute motorcycle safety education video
- Introduction by secretary of state
- Cover basic and advance riding skills
- To be filmed in the summertime with state training bikes
- These materials must be designed to promote traffic safety with the goal of decreasing fatal and serious or incapacitating injuries as a result of motor vehicle crashes.
- The newly produced media will be guided by the approved mebhs safety plans which describe the bureau’s vision for upcoming federal fiscal years.
- The media production services will include:
• Unattended passengers (target audience is adults ages 18-49)
• Need to bring awareness to the issue of leaving passengers unattended in hot or cold vehicles.
• Driving around CMV (target audience is adults ages 18-49)
• Focus on CMV blind spots
• Impaired driving (target audience is adults ages 25-34).
• Occupant protection (target audience is male drivers ages 18-34)
• Child passenger safety (target audience is adults ages 18-49)    
• Distracted driving (target audience is adults ages 18-49)
• Speeding (target audience is males ages 25-49)
• Young driver (target audience is teens ages 16-19)
• Vulnerable road users (pedestrians; target audience is adults ages 18+)
• Motorcycles (target audience is males ages 25-54)
