The Vendor is required to provide medical supplies and equipment, including assembly/installation, throughout the county, delivered directly to eligible clients’ homes at approximately 150 locations per month.
- Provide a medical supply catalog to include a full range of products to meet the needs of the Clients including:
• Durable medical equipment
• Incontinence supplies
• Personal care supplies
• Nutritional supplements
• Bariatric/oversized Equipment
• Urological supplies
• Wound care
• Patient care
• Blood pressure/diabetes supplies
• Pill boxes
• Emergency response system
• Adaptive equipment
• Dementia care devices
• Medical support Technologies
• Personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Household toiletries, household items, clothing, footwear, or grooming supplies unless the item is designed to address a medical need;
- Over the counter medications; and
- Basic first aid items.
- Must be able to outsource to other suppliers, maintaining originally approved pricing, if regular suppliers do not have the requested medical supplies and/or equipment and notify the county.
- One-time orders: placed as needed by the authorized personnel through a designated ordering system (e.g., email, online, or phone).
- Recurring: automatic based on a pre-defined schedule or order established with the county.
- Monthly: requested by the client, as needed, within the county authorized monthly allocation.
- Contract period/term: 1 year
