The vendor is required to provide replacement of radio dispatch system:
• Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals to replace current dispatch system.
• New system must support four (4) radio channels subscribing to a p25 trunked system using district-owned Motorola apx-6500 mobile (base) radios.
• District is requiring a back-up system.
• Bidder must include in their bid details and cost for back-up system.
• Back-up system will be used to connect should the main system fail and is inoperable.
• The main connection (base station) is located in a separate building therefore; new system must be able to connect effortlessly and with a strong signal to prevent interruption in service.
• A maintenance base station connection will be required.
• Maintenance base station must be able to connect to speaker system in maintenance bays during after-hours and weekends.
• Maintenance monitors the calls during those hours.
• Bidder shall list, in detail, material and labor costs required to purchase and install one radio system and place second station on stand-by.
