RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide, orient and train safety and security personnel with training equipment that provides an electronic option for tactical training.
- The equipment should support comprehensive training scenarios including, but not limited to:
• Active shooter response simulations
• Tactical movement exercises for both individual and team-based scenarios
• Room entry procedures and practice
• Building search techniques and protocols
- The equipment must be capable of simulating various environments and situations relevant to school safety and security.
- Training equipment should be user-friendly, allowing for easy operation by the district’s safety and security personnel after initial training.
• Training equipment must be portable and easy to set up. equipment must not require a dedicated site, green screen, tracking cameras, tethered cables or connection to a desktop pc.
• Training equipment must allow for offline option and not require an internet connection or dedicated wi-fi network to operative and run system.
• Training equipment must not require a wearable workstation other than a headset to run.
• Training equipment must have software capabilities to allow for up to 12 users, eye tracking analytics and ability to quickly create maps and add variables to scenes.

• Vendor must provide ongoing technical support and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of training system.
• Regular software updates and scenario additions to keep the training content current and relevant to evolving safety and security needs.
• Customization options to tailor training scenarios to specific layouts and requirements of the district’s campuses and buildings
• Detailed reporting and analytics capabilities to track training progress, identify areas of improvement and measure overall effectiveness of the training program.
• Integration with existing district safety and security protocols and procedures
• Train the trainer model.
