The vendor is required to provide security guards at the department.
- Provide a local telephone number or email address which must be continuously monitored, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for immediate contact with the contract manager.
- Regional or national telephone numbers are not acceptable.
- The contract manager or supervisor must return calls within 15 minutes of being contacted by the contract manager or designated department representative.
- Provide all personnel as necessary to meet the requirements of the specified services throughout the term of the purchase order.
- Routinely needed guards (non-emergency) must be provided within 24 hours of request by contract manager or designated department representative.
- Provide an updated list of all vendor personnel or subcontractors and their license numbers at each job site to the contract manager or designated department representative each month.
- This list must be kept current of any additions or changes as soon as changes occur and a revised copy must be provided within 24 hours to the contract manager or designated department representative.
- Identify personnel who have a specific background or experience, or both, in dealing with violence in the workplace, vandalism, and loss of property situations.
- Ensure all personnel are fluent in English with the ability to receive, give, and understand written and oral instructions.
- Ensure personnel, excluding the contract manager, do not work more than 12 consecutive hours within a 24-hour period or work more than seven consecutive days.
- ensure and maintain continuous quality and completeness of the work performed by the security guards.
- Be on-site at all times to oversee all security guard operations.
- Ensure security guards perform assigned tasks at their designated service location.
- Make on-site inspections at each location on a daily basis, report the time the shift check was made on the electronic shift activity report, and provide the contract manager or designated department representative with a weekly inspection report.
- Make a minimum of one random physical check of the security guards daily with all shifts being physically checked within a three-day period and report the time the check was completed on the electronic shift activity report.
- Have the authority and knowledge to make decisions concerning the compliance of the specifications on-site without contract manager approval.
