The Vendor is required to provide for solid waste removal services.
- The service will include the removal and disposal of solid waste and cardboard recycling for the county public school district.
- Provide a 4, 6 or 8 cubic yard container for solid waste for all locations as specified.
- All containers must have locking capabilities and pass department inspections.
- Should also provide one 6-yard container for recycling cardboard per location which will be required emptied weekly at no additional charge.
- Provide one roll-off container for recycling of metal per locations specified which shall be emptied weekly and a percentage of metal sales returned to the district.
- Waste shall be disposed of under all applicable city, county, state and federal guidelines.
- Containers must be kept in sanitary and safe condition.
- Damaged containers must be replaced within 24 hours after the initial request.
- Cubic yards and/or locations may be added, reduced or eliminated without price penalty.
- Work with the district to adjust services schedules for summer, winter and holidays.
- Supplied with a summer, winter and spring break schedule.
- Must empty containers within 24 hours after request.
- Billing – the district is to be billed, in arrears, once per month in the following format:
• Cover sheet with total cost
• Backup with cost per location and any exceptions noted clearly.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
