The vendor is required to provide continuous telecommunications relay services to facilitate communication between deaf, hard-of-hearing or speech impaired persons who use telecommunications devices for the deaf and persons using standard telephone equipment.
- Violation of this provision may lead to disqualification from the bidding process, at the State’s discretion.
- The service to be provided should be structured in a manner that allows for flexibility on a going-forward basis so as to permit the Council to react to any jurisdictional changes from the federal to the state level regarding relay services offered to State customers.
