RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide that the application, removal, and repair of vehicle graphics for various city departments, including the department.
- The service provider shall facilitate the performance of all required services, including but not limited to the following:
• The volume of work includes approximately 200 CMPD vehicles and 50 MCSO vehicles annually.
• All necessary tools, chemicals, and related materials and will utilize only approved products, parts, brands, and specifications.
• Designated personnel will be responsible for sharing service, inventory, availability, and delivery information, and organizing meetings to ensure service improvements, contract compliance, and shall address any other relevant issues.
• All makes and models of vehicles and equipment operated by the city, without exclusions or limitations. services include the transportation of light and medium vehicles from designated storage areas to the worksite, without assistance from city personnel.
• While the city remains flexible on certain aspects of its proposed relationship with the selected company, it has specific preferences:
- The company is expected to provide services for all makes and models of vehicles and equipment operated by the city, without exclusions or limitations.
• The company must maintain active production operations and be physically located.
• All designs created by the service provider shall become the property of the city and shall not remain proprietary to the service provider.
• The service provider must submit a price quote and obtain approval from the appropriate city project manager for any design work, special projects, or design changes before commencing work.
• The service provider shall supply only approved products, parts, brands, and specifications. any substitution of products must receive prior written approval from the city project manager on an exception basis.
• The service provider shall supply all necessary tools, chemicals, and related materials.
- The standard graphics inventory to be maintained at the city shop, at levels determined by city’s selected part supplier company’s inventory stocking guidelines and the city. these examples are not exhaustive and are subject to change:
• Equipment numbers and letters
• Color bands and striping
• City crowns and county emblems
• Various caution graphics
• Police full and partial graphics
• Division and department adhesive banners
• A specified number of marked vehicle graphic sets must be completed and available at all times
- Placing a service request, fleet management will contact the service provider with the following information:
• Fleet management issued work order number;
• Vehicle(s) or equipment make(s) / model(s) / description(s);
• City and/or county issued equipment number(s);
• Detailed description of requested service and actual service and parts performed / installed; and
• A request for price quotation.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
