The vendor is required to provide that evidence management system to modernize and streamline the collection, storage, tracking, and management of police evidence.
-The system must be capable of handling physical, digital, and multimedia evidence to ensure compliance with legal, departmental, and chain of custody requirements.
-Includes, but is not limited to, implementation planning; project management; all necessary technology and software; integration and installation services; two-way integration.
-The records management system servers, handheld devices and other hardware; testing and training; data migration and conversion; end-user documentation; technical documentation; system recovery; archiving, backup and restore capabilities; digital and physical evidence; and post-implementation warranty and annual maintenance support.
-System shall provide:

•Post-implementation support: Offer warranty coverage, ongoing annual maintenance, and support services post-implementation.
•Lifecycle management: Define milestones for software updates, hardware replacements, and data migration to ensure the system remains functional throughout its lifespan.
