Web-Based Financial Reporting Software

The vendor is required to provide that web-based financial reporting software to produce its annual financial report including management’s discussion and analysis, financial statements, footnote disclosures, required supplementary information, and the independent auditors’ report.
- Software that:
• Allows for real-time financial reporting with user-friendly screens, online help functions, and the
ability to perform calculations and store images.
• Allows multiple users to work in the document simultaneously.
• Allows the user to work on the latest version of the document, eliminating version control issues.
• Provides a centralized data repository where reports can be generated and produced using a
centralized workbook.
• Ensures accuracy and consistency in data that flows throughout all documents.
• Provides a secure environment for critical data, ensures changes are captured, and provides a full audit trail of such.
• Allows for the seamless rolling forward of documents from one year to the next, including the ability to maintain links of numeric and text-based data to source documents and add links to new source
documents as needed.
• Allows edits and changes to be made right up until the last minute before issuing the financial
statements and other reports.
- A detailed work plan and product description that includes:
• A proposal overview that condenses and highlights the contents of the proposal in such a way as to
provide the technical review committee with a broad understanding of the entire proposal.
•  A statement of the bidder’s understanding of the needs of the university and of firm’s
software and support services.
• Specific information regarding the product’s ability to meet university provide examples of the product’s reporting capabilities.
• Regarding the firm will approach the engagement and how it will accomplish the required tasks
• The staff competency level over the term of the contract will be assured.
• The firm’s contingency plan for the replacement of principals should an emergency arise.
