RFP Description
The vendor is required to provide an out-of-the-box, scalable, cloud-based software platform that can efficiently manage and analyze large consumption data sets, support complex queries, and deliver insightful reporting. The proposed solution will support our district’s AMI data processing needs while ensuring high-performance and user-friendly capabilities for non-technical staff. - Include for Services: • Software Solution Requirements: The software should meet the following specifications: 1. Scalability: Cloud-based platform capable of scaling to manage large datasets from the District’s AMI. 2. Real-time Data Processing: High-performance data processing and query execution capabilities, ensuring quick and reliable results. 3. User Interface: Intuitive, easy-to-navigate interface for non-technical users, with customizable dashboards and reporting tools. 4. System Integration: Ability to integrate with our existing systems (list of systems attached) • Advanced Analytics: Tools for predictive analytics, data visualization, trend analysis, and actionable insights. 5.Security: Features ensuring secure access control, data encryption, and compliance with data privacy regulations. 6.Compatibility: Ability to integrate with PowerBI, MSSQL, and SSRS. • Data Query Capabilities The platform should support: 1. Complex Queries: Ability to execute complex, multi-table queries efficiently with experience in Microsoft SQL. 2. Custom Queries & Automation: Support for the creation of custom queries and automation of recurring reports for water use data, with no additional fee for automated features and normalizing data. 3. Compliance Calculations: Capability to calculate water use objectives in compliance with SB 606 and AB 1668. 4. Data Transformation & Cleansing: Tools for transforming and cleansing data to ensure quality and consistency and easy exportability. 5. Third-Party Integration: Integration with external data sources as required for enhanced analysis. • Custom Support for Staff The selected software vendor should provide: 1. Onboarding Assistance: Tailored training programs for staff to ensure smooth implementation and adoption. 2. Ongoing Support: Dedicated technical support for troubleshooting and issue resolution. 3. Knowledge Base: Access to a comprehensive knowledge base or self-service portal for common queries and troubleshooting. 4. Custom Support Services: Availability of remote troubleshooting and, if applicable, in-person training and support.
