The Vendor is required to provide currently utilizes a cloud-based digital asset management (DAM) system provided by orange logic.
- This platform manages digital assets and publishes digital collections.
- Ensure digital access, preservation, and discovery for over 5 million digital assets and 100 TB of content, with collections growing daily.
- Services include:
1. Collect and organize
• Supports acquisition, organization, and access to diverse digitized and born digital archival objects, museum objects, audiovisual materials, books, images, 3d objects, biological specimens and more.
• Robust support for audio-visual assets, critical for managing the EMI music state archive.
• Multiple ingestion methods to accommodate internal and external users contributing to our collections efficiently.
2. Storage & preservation
• Cloud-hosted managed storage with local sync capability.
• Fixity checking ensures integrity across multiple stored copies.
• Scalable storage adjusts to growing collections and usage needs.
3. Security & access control
• Granular permissions allow metadata-only discovery, view-only access, request-based access, or full download capabilities.
• Customizable access rights for different user groups within the same asset.
• Workflow status drives phases of security and access at different stages in the asset’s processing stage.
4. Reporting & analytics
• Comprehensive reporting on asset usage, workflows, and metadata extraction.
• Ability to track views, downloads, requests, and shares for assets.
• Real-time system monitoring for diagnostics and issue resolution.

• Tailored workflows for key services.
• Digitization on demand workflow for request-based scanning services.

6. Metadata & description
• Supports automated metadata generation (e.g., OCR, facial recognition, keyword extraction, speech to text).
• Allows batch and individual metadata updates via csv upload, form editing, batch editing in system.
• Provides robust taxonomy management and ability to tailor filters.
• Permissions based access to metadata fields.
7. Content delivery & access
• Manages open access, public domain, copyright-restricted, and licensed collections.
• Provides fit-for-purpose asset delivery based on permissions and request types.
8. Discovery & integration
• Search and browse features across collections, with integration into primo and google.
