The Vendor is required to provide all interested parties on the availability and capabilities to implement an integrated, single platform emergency medical services (EMS) information solution to include the following key elements:
• Securely collect accurate, actionable EMS and hospital patient information in real-time
• Transmit EMS patient data in real-time to state and other databases
• Administer the credentialing of EMS and other related personnel
• Manage administrative EMS organizational records, including provider services, receiving hospitals, and training/education entities
• Collect and merge dispatch-based and hospital-based data to matching EMS records, including patient outcomes and specialty care registries
• Provide configurable and user-friendly reporting and analytics access.
- Your ability to support system wide and per-agency electronic patient care report (ePCR) customization and/or additional data fields.
-This should include details related to permission groups, data validation methods, the ability to customize forms, and methods to share templates. In addition, provide your ability to generate customized, detailed data dictionaries.
- EPCR modules or related data platforms available within the platform.
- These features may include:
• Computer-aided dispatch integrations
• Integrate, store, and transmit medical device data, which may include vital sign/EKG devices, video laryngoscopes, IV pumps, ambulance gurney, or other sources
• Data collection reliability, which may include offline/cached data capabilities
• Device/unit geolocation recording and tracking, which may include export to patient registries, real traffic drive time estimation, geofence location or device motion tracking data points, and/or other geospatial solutions
• Data collection and access audit tools
• Mobile integrated healthcare and/or community paramedicine patient data collection, alerting, analytics, care team communication, or other specialized tools
• Ability to provide high impact user or incident location dashboard(s)
• Critical care documentation and integrated tools, which may include medication lookups, drug dose calculators, or configurable procedure checklists
• Crew scheduling, messaging, and other operations management solutions
• Video, voice, and/or text telehealth consultation or other online medical direction solutions
• Billing solutions or exports to billing services
• Patient lookup via internal databases
• External patient search and matching solutions to include practitioner orders for life sustaining treatment (POLST), health information hubs, and/or voluntary specialty care data sources
• Ambulance patient offload time data recording using non-manual processes
• Agency-level user interface customization
• Patient feedback collection or customer satisfaction surveys
• Mandatory reporting flagging, report creation, and/or submission
• Artificial intelligence (AI) tools, which may include ePCR narratives, documentation assistance, or other features to improve patient care.
- Ability to provide real-time and historical data analytics that includes operational, quality improvement, clinical, administrative, and surveillance assessments.
- Customer service-related programs and processes to include:
• Dedicated one-on-one account advisor program
• 24/7 support services for system failures or outages
• Redundancy of servers and data
• Ability to develop non-standard client requests
• Research and development programs.
