The Vendor is required to provide to implement, host, integrate and manage a web-based, statewide dispatching and scheduling solution.
- Provide a work plan with a project schedule and milestones
- Provide a diagram of the proposed solution’s system architecture
- Provide documentation describing the firm’s disaster recovery plan (DRP)
- Identify the computing environment (platform operating system & versions, database system and versions, any add-on applications)
- Install and configure for use up-to-date digital maps based on the latest census data.
- This includes the geocoding of addresses for the areas served by the department and contained in the existing system; import/configuration of all transit systems, provider and customer profiles; import/configuration of all vehicle/fleet profiles and data
- Test all functional capabilities of the system (office and field)
- Provide project management including periodic progress reports, meetings and calls
- Provide implementation services, upgrades/maintenance and technical support throughout the contract
- Provide a service level agreement (SLA) – backed support plan over the life of the contract, in-person go-live training, quarterly in-person sustainment training and monthly web-based sustainment and new user training over the life of the contract (dispatchers, schedulers, managers & drivers).
- The proposer will also be expected to maintain training records (who, what and when) for users of the solution in addition to providing hard copies of user handbooks/documentation to each system user.
- Provide end user and administrator documentation for the solution
- Provide pre-configured reports that report on all required agency data points by vehicle, by transit system, by fleet and statewide.
- Provide import-ready export function of agency data
- Provide product information stating the firm’s plans for incorporating future national transit asset management rules
- Documentation describing the nature of the application’s data security
- Provide a dedicated account manager that serves as the successful firm’s point of contact and primary relationship manager for the department
- Provide full year agency data for each fiscal year in which the contract is active, including year 0 of the contract even if only part of the year’s data was captured in the successful proposer’s solution.
- Under the maintenance program, keep the department running on the most current version of the solution.
- Ensure upgrades to the department’s environment within 3 months of the release of new versions of the proposed solution.
