The vendor is required to provide temporary staffing services.
- Provide high quality personnel, qualified by experience, training and/or education to perform the work based on the requirements provided by the district.
- Provide the district with qualified personnel on an as-needed basis in a timely manner, usually within one business day of the district’s request.
- Provide the district a work order confirmation prior to the start date of an assignment.
- Temporary personnel provided by the contractor are not employees of the district and will not be eligible for district employee benefits.
- The contractor shall recruit, hire, pay, and provide benefits (per their administration, if applicable); respond to requests for applicable skills training (if needed); approve and provide any leaves of absence, time-off and address performance issues, including discipline and termination as necessary for temporary personnel.
- The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations concerning equal employment requirements and take affirmative action to ensure employment opportunities.
- The district reserves the right to review and approve the qualifications and experience of staff providing services under the agreement including new or replacement staff proposed by the contractor.
- Screening requirements:
• Conduct background and reference checks in accordance with state and federal law prior to placement of temporary employees with the district.
• All misdemeanor and felony convictions from age 18 years incurred within any county or state must be disclosed.
• The contractor shall screen, interview, and test all temporary employees for referral to the district, as applicable, for temporary assignment to ensure their skills meet the requirements and requested standards and knowledge criteria of the available temporary positions
• The district may request the background check reports and the opportunity to interview prospective temporary employees prior to assignment.
