- The objective is to acquire a subscription-based service that provides access to a substantial library of royalty-free music and sound effects (SFX) assets.
- These assets will be utilized in various city-produced media content, including but not limited to:
• Public, educational, and government (peg) television broadcasts
• Social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and others
• Official city websites and digital platforms
1. Asset library requirements
• Access to a minimum of 5,000 unique music tracks; a larger library is preferred.
• Access to a comprehensive collection of sound effects.
• Regular updates with new music and SFX assets added throughout the subscription term.
2. Licensing terms
• Royalty-free usage of all downloaded assets.
• Perpetual license for all projects created and published during the active subscription period.
• Continued legal use of assets in existing projects post-subscription termination.
• Worldwide distribution rights across all media platforms, including but not limited to:
o Peg television broadcasts
o Social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok)
o Official city websites and digital platforms
3. Legal and compliance
• Indemnification provisions to protect the city against potential copyright infringement claims.
• Assistance with resolving any content id claims or similar issues on platforms like YouTube.
• Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to music and SFX licensing.
