The vendor is required to provide comprehensive data backup and protection services at each of its campuses.
• Data protection: implementation of robust security measures to protect data from unauthorized access, breaches, and other threats. 
• Tools to ensure and report on backup data compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, FERPA, etc. 
• Ransomware protection: solutions to detect, prevent, and recover from ransomware attacks. 
• Cloud hosting backup: regular and automated backups of data hosted in the cloud. 
• M365 backup: comprehensive backup solutions for microsoft 365 data, including emails, SharePoint, OneDrive, and teams. identify whether there are options to limit which accounts (email and OneDrive) are backed up and what methodology is used to limit. 
• Immutable backup: implementation of immutable backups to ensure data cannot be altered or deleted once written.
• Archive solutions: solutions and integrations with external and third-party storage services for archival backup needs and long-term storage needs e.g., to meet compliance and policy driven retention periods. 
• Define the time to recovery for key workloads using the proposed solution (state any assumptions):
o 10tb virtual machine
o 1tb varied file size restores (word, excel, ppt type files from a file-share)
o 100gb oracle database restores
• Disaster recovery: detailed disaster recovery plan, including procedures for data restoration in the event of a major incident.
