Managed WAN Solution

The vendor required to provide managed wan solution for one (1) new data transport circuit, via leased dark or lit fiber service.
- Leased lit fiber:
•    The first option requested is for leased lit fiber wan data transport service. 
•    The service must include fully managed symmetrical bandwidth connections at a minimum of 10 GBPS between all sites. 
•    To be eligible for consideration, all proposed solutions must be within the specified bandwidth range of 10gbps up to 40gbps as shown.
•    The specified minimum and maximum bandwidths, service providers are encouraged to offer various bandwidth options within this range. 
•    Include their closest comparable service level for consideration if the exact bandwidths listed are unavailable.
- Requirement for leased lit fiber solutions:
•    A leased lit fiber proposal should include an end-to-end fiber-optic wan, including SFPs, GBICs, and any other (future) transceivers required to connect the main data switch to the core switches at district hubs and instructional support center at maximum bandwidth of 40 GBPS.
- Leased dark fiber
•    The provision of leased dark fiber which is terminated at both ends. 
•    County does currently own hardware to light the fiber.
- Requirement for leased dark fiber solutions:
•    All dark fiber responses require maintenance as part of the response, even if maintenance is subcontracted out to a third party. 
•    In the case of the 3rd party maintenance, the respondent must hold and manage the subcontract and is ultimately responsible for the SLA. 
•    It is assumed that the dark fiber network is part of a more comprehensive fiber infrastructure of the service provider. 
•    The respondent will include only the portion of maintenance that is required to support the county fiber segments versus overall network maintenance. 
•    If the fiber serves multiple customers, the cost of maintenance should be shared among all the recipients.
