The Vendor is required to provide proposals to install an automated red light enforcement (ARLE) system at five (5) City intersections as approved by the department as well as the full range of associated support services, to include but not limited to: violation validation and site selection support, customer service, expert witness testimony, telephone and correspondence processing, noticing, violations processing, department of motor vehicle interface, payment processing, collections, reporting, field maintenance and repair services, adjudication support, training and a comprehensive public education program.
- The ARLE System must be capable of providing accessibility to numerous users without degradation of service.
- Tracking software is required to show when and who accesses the system.
- The ARLE System must reliably, accurately, and fairly capture red light violations while minimizing the invasion of privacy for drivers and passengers. No camera system may be capable of being manipulated from a remote location for any purpose. No camera system may be placed in such a manner as to capture images other than those described in this document. All images must be specific to red light camera enforcement.
- The public service announcements will be created at the direction of the City and must include video and media announcements.
