RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide a comprehensive Web and LMS accessibility scanning platform that leverages the WAVE evaluation engine to ensure consistent, standards based auditing across all official public web sites and LMS content.
- Solution must strengthen institutional accessibility compliance, streamline remediation workflows, and empower both instructors and administrators with clear, actionable insights.
- The solution shall utilize the WAVE (Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool) engine, developed by WebAIM, as the primary auditing technology to ensure consistency with WAVE browser extensions and icon based reporting.
- The solution shall provide a WYSIWYG remediation interface that overlays WAVE accessibility icons directly onto fully rendered pages within both the web scanner and the Canvas LMS, enabling users to view error locations in context.
- The solution shall include a native integration with the Canvas LMS that opens a remediation side panel within the Rich Content Editor (RCE), leveraging the WAVE engine to identify accessibility issues and allowing instructors to correct errors without modifying HTML.
- The solution shall provide an administrative dashboard displaying an overall accessibility health score for the entire Canvas instance.
- The solution shall allow administrators to drill down from the institutional level to sub accounts, departments, and individual courses to monitor accessibility data and remediation progress.
- Provide centralized portals for managing both public facing Web Accessibility Scanning and Canvas LMS Accessibility Scanning environments.
- The solution shall support automated scheduled scans and shall allow unlimited on demand rescans.
- The solution shall support scheduled report generation and shall deliver such reports via email.
- Provide a VPAT report and all user facing web interfaces of the solution shall conform to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
