The Vendor is required to provide standards-based next generation 9-1-1 (ng9-1-1) call handling system and associated ng9-1-1 functional components.
- Solutions for one or more of the following service categories:
1. Standards-based ng9-1-1 call handling system (call-handling equipment [CHE])
• Core call processing; next generation core services (NGCS) interfaces; multimedia handling; system provisioning; resiliency and redundancy; cybersecurity controls; and compliance with applicable national emergency number association (NENA) i3 functional and interface standards.
2. Dispatch mapping solution for ng9-1-1
• Real-time geospatial mapping integrated with ng9-1-1 call handling; geographic information system (GIS)-based visualization; location validation; and compatibility with regional and member-provided GIS datasets.
3. Data analytics solution for ng9-1-1
• System performance analytics; operational metrics and call quality analysis; trend reporting; real-time dashboards; and standardized state and national reporting outputs.
4. Ancillary services for ng9-1-1
• Solutions shall be capable of supporting diverse operational environments ranging from small rural public safety answering points (PSAPS) to large metropolitan 9-1-1 centers.
• Demonstrate technical expertise in ng9-1-1 environments, successful implementation experience, the ability to provide ongoing support, and reliability consistent with the mission-critical expectations of public safety communications.
