The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive, cloud-based, vendor-hosted platform that provides integrated modules for degree audit, degree planning, student course scheduling, transfer equivalency management, and transfer recruitment network.
- The platform must provide robust application and management for administrative staff, supporting efficient operations and decision-making.
- Requirement:
1. Degree audit and planning solution
•    Provide intuitive tools, features, and functionality for student-facing, advisor-facing, and administrative campus users to manage and monitor academic and degree progress, including identifying outstanding requirements.
•    Support dynamic 'what-if’ scenarios to explore alternative majors, minors, and certificate programs.
•    Provide academic planning features that enable multiple term course mapping aligned with degree requirements, offering clear pathways to graduation. 
•    Provide degree discovery capabilities to assist both students and administrative offices in identifying additional academic opportunities, degrees, and certificates. 
•    Support advisers and administrators in managing complex curricula through real-time analytics and early alerts for students at risk of falling off track. 
•    Allow administrative users to be able to process and apply student-specific exceptions, such as course substitutions or waived requirements, with appropriate audit tracking and permissions. 
•    Support real-time integration with the university’s student information system (oracle PeopleSoft campus solutions) to ensure data accuracy and currency.
2. Class schedule building solution
•    Provide a dynamic scheduling platform that enables students to create optimal class schedules based on preferences and available course sections. 
•    Include features that generate multiple schedule options based on criteria such as preferred time blocks, instructor preferences, and course availability. 
•    Allow advisors and authorized administrative users to view, edit, and build schedules on behalf of students, ensuring alignment with degree audits, academic programs, and student goals. 
•    Support real-time integration with the university’s student information system (oracle PeopleSoft campus solutions) to ensure data accuracy and currency.
3. Transfer equivalency solution
•    Include a public-facing application that enables users to input completed coursework and view how courses will transfer to the university. 
•    Support federal requirements for higher education institutions to provide transparent, accessible, and student-friendly transfer course information. 
•    Support administrative users with access to tools, features, and functions to research, manage, and evaluate transfer course equivalencies, reducing the lead time for awarding transfer credit. 
•    This includes the ability to create and manage course equivalencies, with access to both historical and current course catalogs. 
•    Support data integration and flexible reporting of transfer equivalency data to ensure accurate and timely access for the student information system (oracle PeopleSoft campus solutions) and other modules within the proposed platform. 
•    Support system integrations through APIs, enabling interoperability with campus systems.
4. Transfer recruitment network solution
•    Include a transfer recruitment network that enables prospective students to explore how their completed coursework may be transferred to the university and identify potential degree pathways. 
•    Allow users to search for institutions where their coursework is accepted, compare transfer options, and identify degree programs that align with their academic history and goals. 
•    Allow students to create accounts, manage their course history, track transfer evaluations across institutions, and receive recommendations or alerts based on their academic profile. 
•    Support reverse transfer searches and replacement course matching, enabling students to identify courses at other institutions that fulfill university degree requirements. 
•    Allow administrative users access to manage institutional transfer profiles, monitor student engagement, and analyze transfer trends. 
•    Include communication tools for outreach, follow-up, and advising.
