Community Access Bus and Paratransit Dispatch and Scheduling System

The Vendor is required to provide a transit scheduling and dispatch software system to support the county’s community access bus (CAB) and paratransit transportation services.
- Solution must include system implementation, configuration, staff training, and ongoing technical support.
- The system must support the County’s current transit operations, which include:
•    Approximately 1,144 passenger trips per month, with daily trips ranging between 24 and 61
•    Service operating six (6) days per week:
o    Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. To 6:00 p.m.
o    Saturday from 10:00 a.m. To 4:00 p.m.
•    Service coverage throughout lac la county, including trips extending up to approximately 63 kilometers southeast and 40 kilometers northwest of the County
•    A mixed fleet currently consisting of:
o    One (1) 9-passenger transit bus capable of carrying 2 wheelchairs
o    One (1) 16-passenger accessible paratransit vehicle equipped with a lift (up to 4 wheelchairs when seats are stowed)
o    One (1) additional 14-passenger transit vehicle planned for future service
•    Temporary supplemental transportation through contracted taxi services and a municipal agency shuttle
- The system must also support:
•    Driver access via tablet or smartphone devices
•    Driver scheduling considerations (breaks and shifts)
•    Customer account management and eligibility tracking for Paratransit
- System architecture, including hosting (cloud or local), data storage, backup, security, and system integration with the County’s IT environment.
