The Vendor is required to provide regarding the costs associated with the purchase, installation, and implementation of a currently available tissue and cellular therapy laboratory information management system software for the university.
- Requirement:
• Preference will be given to supplier solutions who meet accreditation requirements electronically and provide process control electronically within the system.
• System must support creation of records concurrently with performance of each activity, and must include the result, date and time, identification of the person performing the activity.
• System allows for ability of data fields to auto-populate based upon data entered in previous fields.
• In the event of an extended absence of a user, system supports "proxy" functionality which would enable a selected user of have the ability to execute work items such as approvals, etc.
• System includes a secure, computer generated, time/date stamped audit trail to independently record the date and time of operator entries and actions that create, modify, or delete electronic records?
• System provides data migration or data conversion from current database to supplier database. Note: database conversion may be contracted to a third party supplier if applicable.
• Supply references for third party suppliers that you have worked successfully with for database conversion.
• Solution will have the ability to support 50 concurrent users in a totally fault-tolerant, redundant configuration to ensure 99.99 percent system availability and client response times of 1 second or less using wired and wireless devices on a TCP/IP network.
• Solution will utilize enterprise-level RDBMS (such as oracle, cache, or SQL server).
• Supports a variety of long-term patient data storage options, including on-line active data storage and procedures to restore or reactivate older archived data.
• Archived data must occupy standard fields in the data model, with the ability to save some fields as "live" data for a user defined amount of time.
• System must support data migration from the current system with data migration validated and completed before implementation date.
• System must support robust and comprehensive usage of logical observation identifiers names and codes (LOINC) codes within the database.
• Provide information on two other academic centers that are currently utilizing supplier's software who are currently using LOINC coding.
• System provides the ability to store and retrieve scanned documents in common formats such as .pdf, .jpg.
