Learning Management System

The Vendor is required to provide learning management system for include:
- Functional capabilities
• Cloud based
o Must be fully contained within country
• Integrate with all health authority systems across state
• Integrate with existing peer review software
• Storage capacity for approximately 5000 cases per year
o Cases added to overall storage year over year
o Storage needs to be long term for training and learning.
• Centralized (non-purging) storage
o No purging unless directed to and managed by a planned schedule (number of years to be determined
• Scalable
• User dashboards and personalized learning feeds
• Single sign on
• Role-based access controls
• Bulk user import
• Browser agnostic
- Availability
• To any authority practicing radiologist in the province.
- User functions
• Dynamic web browser based (available to all browsers) is required for interactions on cases with the ability to
o Create comments
o Add flags on images
o Receive tag notifications where appropriate
• Radiologists can import and flag imaging studies to the library from within authority existing peer review application (workflow intelligence)
• Each radiologist should be able to create their own personal “library” for reference
o Ability to tag, add flags and notes in personal library
• Needs to be searchable
o Capable of searching on numerous data points (gender, age, modality, etc.)
• Ability to de-identify if images are coming from other authority
o Ability to re-identify patients if absolutely necessary by select personnel (e.g. For patient safety concerns)
• Support provincial peer learning rounds (if required) through a web portal
• Centralized administration
- Appropriate legal, privacy, and security protections.
- Future potential use for medical education
• To be available for medical education through UBC
- Preferred not mandatory to have
• Vender neutral archive
• Communication back to radiologists as necessary.
