The Vendor is required to provide for a modern, enterprise-grade IP video management system (VMS) to replace its legacy IndigoVision platform, which has reached end of manufacturing and end of support.
- The system must retain standard video recordings for a minimum of thirty days while ensuring protected retention of investigative video for at least ninety days.
- The platform must fully integrate with Lenel OnGuard to enable centralized management, auditing, reporting, alarm monitoring, and contextual video pop-up directly within the VMS interface and the access control system (ACS) interface.
- The new solution will replace the University’s existing IndigoVision environment and will be deployed in parallel with the legacy system to reduce operational and security risk, enabling full functional validation, performance testing, and operational acceptance prior to decommissioning the current platform.
- Third Party Tools/Services
• Lenel Onguard Access Control System
• Microsoft Entra ID or Microsoft Azure / SAML 2.0 / MFA
• Third-Party Intrusion Detection Systems
• Video Intercom Systems
- Provide a dedicated representative who will be available to meet with the University, on a regular basis or as needed, to provide face-to-face customer service, offer suggestions to improve the system and service, review system performance, answer questions, resolve problems, etc.
- VMS support a distributed, multi-server architecture with dedicated recording servers that can be independently managed and scaled
- Solution offer an as-a-Service or cloud-hosted VMS model in addition to on-premises deployment
- VMS support a centralized management application that is separate from the operator/viewing client, allowing administrators to configure all servers, devices, rules, and user permissions from a single interface
- VMS support a dedicated event/alarm server component that processes rules, alarms, and event-driven actions independently from the recording infrastructure
- VMS support VMware and Hyper-V virtualized server environments for all system components (management, recording, event processing).
- Optional Site Walk: June 15, 2026
