The Vendor is required to provide to procure an established electronic quartermaster system for the agency.
- The primary objective of this project is to implement a modern Quartermaster software solution that will accurately track individual issued uniform and equipment items, specifically the exact description of issued items, and the date and time of issuance and return.
- This will increase accountability of issued equipment, improve operational efficiency within the unit and replace manual processes with a streamlined workflow
- Key requirements:
• Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) / out-of-the-box solution
• Minimal configuration and customization required
• SaaS-based platform preferred
• Simple, intuitive workflows
• Low dependency on IT resources for:
o Implementation
o Hosting
o Ongoing support
- Solution will meet the following requirements:
• Support for secure authentication (e.g. Single Sign On (SSO) vs. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• High-level architecture, environment structure (Prod, Test etc.) and hosting model
• Backup and disaster recovery approach
• Role-based access control (admin vs. user)
• Data migration and validation approach
• Integration with identity providers (e.g. Active Directory)
• Data protection, cybersecurity practices and any applicable security certifications.
• System availability expectations (e.g. uptime, service support hours)
