Video Management System

The Vendor is required to provide an avigilon unity 8 video management system.
- The Services include without limitation the supply, installation, configuration, licensing, testing, integration, commissioning and deployment of an Avigilon Unity 8 Video Management System to enable centralized monitoring, recording and management of video surveillance devices and providing related training.
- Provide, commission and deploy an Avigilon Unity 8 video management system, integrate all new and existing cameras and recording devices, provide and deploy centralized monitoring and management, ensure system reliability, performance and compliance, complete successful system go-live with stakeholder sign-off
- Services require:
• Provide, commission and deploy an Avigilon Unity 8 VMS with centralized recording (server supplied by the County of Essex), AI analytics, and a minimum 40-day estimated retention period.
• Install 74 new cameras, producing 83 total recording/display streams (due to multi-sensor units), or approved equivalent.
• Migrate and integrate 13 existing Avigilon ACC5 cameras onto the new Unity 8 server.
• Deploy appearance search analytics across all supported cameras for rapid person and vehicle investigations.
• Configure rule-based detections and alerting (in coordination with the County's IT Team) for priority exterior areas.
• Deliver operator and administrator training, as-built documentation, and a commissioning report.
- Camera connection/device licenses for 74 new devices, inclusive of multisensor licensing to support 83 streams, per Avigilon licensing policy.
- Cabling must be certified during commissioning, and a certificate of completion or report must be provided.
- Searchable attributes include: clothing colour, accessories (e.g., backpack, hat), hair colour, and estimated age range, perceived gender presentation; approximate height, and general facial attributes.
