- Judicial workbench
• Unified digital filing gateway: complete of design and development of a consolidated digital filing entry point replacing disparate intake channels and implementation of a unified search layer binding multiple document repositories into a searchable index.
• Legacy gap remediation: identify and complete digitization of remaining paper-based filing gaps across applicable case types.
• Semantic search: complete development and deployment of a concept-based semantic discovery layer across all case documents.
• Annotation and tagging: complete implementation of private judicial digital sticky notes and paragraph-level tags that persist and follow the justice across devices.
• Case chronology: complete and deliver automated visual chronology of the case lifecycle, with click-through to evidentiary documents.
• Systems integration: complete integration of the workbench with civil and sheriff entry system (cases) and justice online information network (join) for a unified case view.
• Provide support for UAT with the judicial advisory group and program area working group.
- Electronic bail payment
• Design and development of a secure online bail payment service accessible 24/7 by sureties, family members, and authorized parties.
• Implementation of an automated real-time join write back integration for financial endorsements upon confirmed payment.
• Development and rollout capability for PHOs, remand centers, and leas to replace existing cash-handling and independent payment workflows.
• Implement automated notification system alerting court administration, corrections, and leas upon payment confirmation
• Discovery and scoping for electronic release orders and digital signature integration
• Ensure compliance with payment security standards, goa data sovereignty, courts security standards, and officer requirements.
• Support for UAT with the program area working group and participating lea and pho representatives.
- Text message reminders for court appearances
• Complete design and development of a consent-based self-enrollment service allowing accused persons to register via QR code at first appearance, arraignment, or courthouse entry points.
• Complete implementation of a token-based identity verification for enrollment (date of birth + last four digits of case number + initials).
• Complete development and deployment of automated short messaging service (SMS) and email reminder notifications for all scheduled court appearances.
• Complete implementation of a file-type suppression logic to exclude sensitive matter types (e.g., domestic violence, protection orders, in-custody matters) from enrollment eligibility.
• Complete the development and build of tracking and reporting capability for enrollment rates, opt-out rates, and appearance rate correlation.
• Ensure minimal data collection and storage architecture (only data required for notification delivery to be collected and stored).
• Complete scoping for extension to witness management, jury summons, and civil matter notifications
• Compliance with privacy legislation, goa data sovereignty, courts security standards, and officer requirements.
• Support for UAT with clerks, court administration, and duty counsel representative groups.
