The Vendor is required to provide to supply the College with an Immersive Virtual Reality (VR) training software that provides Paramedic skills development (the "Solution").
- The objective of this Solution is to provide the College's students the opportunity to experience different high risk, real world, and complex scenarios.
- This Solution will be used by our paramedic students to practice vital protocols and develop critical decision-making skills in a risk-free environment.
- This Solution should provide skills to bridge the gap between learning and real-world scenarios for our students to increase their resiliency that will lead to employability.
- The Solution shall include the following features:
• Library of dynamic, out-of-the-box simulation modules and scenarios to choose from, including a broad range of medical and emergency response situations across diverse settings, patient profiles and simulation parameters
• Access to pre-built simulation, already developed content that is easily customizable by College staff (administrators)
• Visual assets are authentic and realistic in appearance and are high-quality visual fidelity and resolution
• Simulation environments shall include realistic settings ranging from emergency and trauma scenes (e.g. highway accidents) to confined domestic settings
• Utilize artificial intelligence (AI) driven patient encounters that support natural, dynamic conversations to eliminate the need for immersion-breaking response by College administrators
o AI patients shall respond contextually and without reliance on pre-scripted or pre-canned dialogue
• Allow for up to 20 users to be in the Solution concurrently at any point in time
- Implementation Requirements
• Detailed list of network requirements that is necessary for the Software to operate and be fully functional. This shall include all required URLs, ports, protocols, firewall exceptions and internet connectivity requirements necessary for the Solution to operate and update in the future
• Supported operating systems and minimum hardware requirements for access from desktop/laptop computers, tablets and mobile devices, including managed iPads
• Identifying whether local administrator rights are required to install, configure, or update the Software on devices other than the VR headsets Security documentation and identify any requirements for antivirus exclusions, elevated permissions, endpoint security exceptions, or network configuration changes
• Documentation of the software update processes, including frequency, whether updates are automatic or manual, advance notification periods and any testing requirements prior to updates
• Identifying all vendor support requirements, including whether remote access to College-owned devices is required for troubleshooting and the methods used to provide remote support
• Assist with deployment plans; mapping out best formats to logistically use the software
