• Utilities billing
• Procurement
• Asset management

2. Documentation of key business process system interactions and manual workaround
• Data quality and master data manage
• Reporting and analytics capabilities;
• System integrations and interoperability;
• Regulatory and compliance obligations.
3. Evaluation of change readiness, organizational capacity, and governance structures
• Organizational capacity and resource availability;
• Change management maturity;
• Leadership alignment and sponsorship;
• User readiness and potential resistance risks.
• Identify key change risks and barriers;
• Provide a high-level change readiness rating;
• Recommend actions required prior to implementation.
- ERP strategy and options
• Assess and recommend the appropriate functional scope of the future ERP ecosystem
• Evaluate which business capabilities should be included within the ERP versus remain external systems.
• The rationale for inclusion or exclusion of each major functional area must be included in the evaluation.
• Identify integration implications where functions remain outside the ERP ecosystem.
• Assess risks, costs, and benefits of broader versus narrower ERP scope,
• Describe viable solution archetypes without recommending specific vendors
• Identify implications for data governance, cybersecurity, privacy, and long-term support

2. Governance interaction and advisory role
• Interact with and support the engagement governance structure.
• Identify decision points and escalation mechanisms.
• Review the effectiveness of the current governance model and recommend improvements or alternative governance approaches appropriate for the strategy phase (this engagement) and the future ERP implementation phase.
