The Vendor is required to provide electronic research administration (ERA) software systems are not designed for robust and large-scale sponsored project administration, resulting in laborious proposal efforts that require manual collaboration, tracking, workflow, and submission.
- System places additional burden on researchers and central administration staff and takes away from their time to complete the research and provide more strategic research services.
- Enterprise system that encompasses the full life cycle of proposal development, including system-to-system submission, award management and reporting.
- The primary goals for the new system are:
• Reduce administrative burden for investigators and staff
• Allow for standardization of sponsored project activities through a single, intuitive, user-friendly era system
