Remote Patient Monitoring System

The Vendor is required to provide remote patient monitoring (RPM) system to support paramedic services in the delivery of proactive, community-based care.
- Vital signs monitoring equipment
• Blood oxygen saturation (spo2): accurate pulse oximetry readings, ideally with visual indicators (e.g., colored lights) and real-time sync to the central platform.
• Blood pressure: upper arm or arm or wrist-based digital blood pressure monitors that automatically record systolic and diastolic readings, with cuff sizing options where needed.
• Heart rate: either integrated into spo2 or blood pressure devices, or measured separately. Continuous or periodic heart rate monitoring capability is required.
• Body temperature: thermometers capable of tracking core temperature trends; contactless infrared preferred for client ease.
- Weight tracking system
• Supporting a broad range of body weights (minimum 400 LBS preferred).
• Transmitting data wirelessly to the RPM platform.
• Logging weight trends to assist with chronic disease monitoring (e.g., congestive heart failure, obesity management).
• Providing visual or audio confirmation that data was successfully captured and transmitted.
- Blood glucose monitoring
• Supports both fasting and post-meal glucose monitoring.
• Allows for automated data upload or easy integration with mobile or desktop software.
• Is easy to use, with minimal steps required for clients.
• Comes with clearly labeled supplies (e.g., lancets, strips) and refill guidance 5 integration with insulin tracking or medication adherence tool is preferred
- Interface capabilities
• Profile creation & management: quick setup of new client profiles and linking of assigned devices.
• Real-time monitoring: view of live or recent data for multiple clients, with color-coded alerts for abnormal readings.
• Notes & observations: ability to document interactions, concerns, or action plans.
• Task management: assignment of follow-up tasks or scheduling wellness calls based on flagged data.
