The Vendor is required to provide environmental conditions monitoring system to replace an aging and outdated environmental conditions monitoring system used to monitor fifty-eight (58) critical units within laboratories located.
- System requirements
• The user interface must be easy to navigate and user-friendly.
• Interface where units in both locations, can be easily monitored with one system.
• Alert laboratory staff of a unit that is deviating from set limitations, issues, and malfunctions in a timely manner.
• The department utilizes refrigerators and freezers that have two separate compartments (refrigerator-freezer combination units) or double doors that open into one large compartment, which may require two sensors to accurately measure temperature in its environment.
• Must support sensors that simultaneously record temperature and humidity
• Sensors must have modules that display a digital reading of temperature and humidity.
• Sensors must withstand high temperatures to monitor ovens and incubators.
• Sensors must withstand low temperatures to monitor freezer temperatures down to -80°c.
• Modules that can operate on battery power and utilize a power cord if necessary.
• The system must have the capability to add additional modules onto the license in the future.
• Must have flexible connectivity (through Wi-Fi, cellular, and Ethernet), adaptability, and scalability.
