- Immu-net supports statewide immunization operations, including:
• Immunization reporting — all vaccinations administered in state are reported to immunet as required by articlehealthgeneral §18–109.
• Vaccine ordering & distribution — primary system for vaccines for children (VFC) and statesupplied vaccine management.
• Clinical decision support for immunization (CDSI) — evaluates vaccine validity and schedules based on advisory committee on immunization practices (ACIP) recommendations.
• Data exchange & interoperability — health level 7 (hl7) messaging, provider EHR connections, other state and national partners, and reporting to federal partners.
• Client & record management — patient records, deduplication, and demographic updates.
• Program performance monitoring — supports department program goals for vaccinepreventable disease prevention.
