Integrated Enterprise Reporting and Information Management Platform

Vendors to provide a commercial off-the-shelf enterprise-level reporting and analytics platform to provide mission critical reporting functions.
- The scope includes, but is not limited to:
1. Software licensing or subscription services
2. System implementation and configuration
3. Integration with State-authorized data sources and systems
4. Security and role-based access configuration
5. Knowledge transfer and training
6. Maintenance and ongoing support services
- Solution must meet the following minimum requirements:
1. Enterprise-level reporting and dashboard functionality
2. Self-service reporting capabilities for authorized users
3. Scheduling Engine for automated report scheduling and distribution
4. Ad hoc query, drill-down, and data visualization tools
5. Build drag-and-drop dashboards, schedule report delivery, and automate IPEDS exports.
6. Authorized Lander users shall be able to create and modify standard reports without requiring SQL programming knowledge.
7. Seamless Integration with multiple data sources (e.g., financial, HR, operational systems)
8. Role-based security consistent with regulations, best practices, and State data governance standards.
- The solution must:
1. Be an enterprise reporting platform with established production deployments providing operational reporting directly against Ellucian Banner without requiring implementation of a new institutional data warehouse as a prerequisite for core reporting functionality.
2. Be delivered as a fully vendor-hosted, cloud-based service (SaaS). No on-premises infrastructure deployment or local server installation shall be required from the University for core operations.
3. Have its own cloud architecture, metadata model, report catalog, advanced analytics, API access and user-level security framework
4. Comply with applicable State of South Carolina security, data privacy, and records retention requirements
5. Support accessibility standards applicable to State systems (e.g., Section 508 / WCAG, where applicable)
6. Demonstrate scalability, availability, and disaster recovery capabilities
7. Integrate with the Lander’s enterprise architecture and identity management frameworks, as applicable
8. Provide data integrity and source data directly from the Ellucian Banner system and related systems as noted
9. Have embedded role-based access control, auditing, scheduling, and governance workflows with the ability to align with the University’s security and compliance requirements.
10. As part of implementation, the vendor must work with the University to identify and recreate a core set of existing datasets/reports/dashboards from the legacy system in the new platform. These initial mission-critical reports will be delivered as part of go-live to ensure continuity of service.
