The Vendor is required to provide translation services for documents (e.g., court forms, brochures, posters, webpages, video scripts, slides, handwritten documents, case transcripts).
- There is no guaranteed minimum usage.
- Translation program to provide court forms in an interlineated format in the following Core languages: Chinese, French, Korean, Russian, and Spanish.
- Vital documents include, but are not limited to court forms, brochures, posters, webpages, video scripts, slides, handwritten documents, case transcripts, and any other documents that the Judiciary requires to be translated.
- Approximately seventy (70) percent of documents and updates are for fillable, bi-lingual court forms.
- Translation System shall:
• Utilize a cloud-based project management software accessible to agency to allow the following automated workflows:
o Invoicing
o Quote submission
o Revisions tracking
o Translation requests tracking
o Communications tracking and journaling
o Acceptance or rejection of translation documents
o Any other features offered by the Contractor to streamline repetitive tasks
• Ability to format documents in the following format:
o Dual language
o Single language
o Microsoft Word
o Portable Document Format (PDF)
• Support Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe In-Design CC 25.
• Capability to record, track, revise, and control document files as they are updated in multiple languages.
- Have accessibility and utilize translation memory tools (tm) when performing translations under the contract to ensure consistency.
- Have an established quality assurance policy, which must include a separate proofreading process that insures translation quality.
- Create, format and order fillable blanks in single language and dual language forms and review their functionality prior to submitting documents to the office for publication.
- Be capable of producing emergency translation requests and revisions of previously translated materials within twenty-four (24) hours.
- Provide desktop publishing services to format translated documents at a level of quality appropriate for electronic and print publication.
- Utilize glossaries for all translation projects requested by the office.
• Glossaries shall be updated as needed for each designated language to ensure consistency and uniformity.
- Possess a translator to proofread all translated documents for accuracy.
